The MGS-250 is an infrared refrigerant gas transmitter manufactured by Bacharach. The device provides a cost-effective solution when it comes to detecting various refrigerant without limitations. The NDIR infrared sensor enables accurate low-level leak detection, capable of delivering up to 7 years of maintenance free tool without the need of gas calibrations. This instrument uses an infrared sensing technology that makes the unit unaffected to cross sensitivities to combustible and toxic gas.

The unit is also immune to temperature changes and humidity. It is equipped with an alphanumeric LED display for constant real time readings. The apparatus is also provided with an on-board LED indicator when the sensor is set in alarm mode. An audible alarm alerts the personnel when levels have exceeded the required limit.
